The products generated by FRICHS pyrolysis system is a Syngas and BioChar.

How the biomass is converted to Syngas and BioChar respectively. depend on the origin of the biomass, - "Old" or partial decomposed biomass like sludge produce less gas than "New" and Fresh biomass like straw or rice husk produce significantly more gas. Producing more gas has the consequence of producing less BioChar.

Some examples for the distribution of Syngas and CharCoal based on results from selected biomass:

The component of Syngas is mainly CH4, H2, Co and short chain hydrocarbons. Due to the high process temperature and the design of the process tar content is very low and not a problem for utilization of the gas. Any potential tar are attached to the BioChar.
